Pioneer DJ VM-80

The Pioneer DJ VM series is a new generation of active monitoring speakers designed for use in the studio or for DJ setups. They represent a consistent further development of the S-DJX predecessor series and pack modern technical solutions and high-quality components in a stylish, sophisticated housing.

The speakers are equipped with a Class-D amplifier that resolves at a sampling frequency of 96 kHz. High-quality internal components ensure a linear sound over the complete frequency range. In the bass range, a newly developed aramid fiber woofer cone provides the necessary volume. It not only vibrates silkier, thanks to the 30 percent lower weight, but is also more durable due to the lighter construction.

The housing can convince with its clever construction and benefits optimally from the latest findings from audio research. For example, ribs on the bass reflex port provide a more powerful punch in the lower range, while the 4 mm aluminum front radiation eliminates vibrations and unwanted resonances.

To best match the monitors to home conditions, the VM Series offers customizable DSP with EQ-ing capabilities. The low and high ranges can be adjusted separately to ideally match the position of the monitors and the sonic characteristics of your own room.
