I already knew the headphones and bought them again because of the good experience. The delivery was great and I also found the direct calculation of VAT for Swiss imports very good.

Not necessarily for techno DJs

My "normal" DJ headphones are the Sennheiser HD 25 PLUS. Unfortunately, for me, as a rather "coarse motorist", it is a bit too delicately worked, so that it is a bit worn after a few years. Because I used the Pioneer X7 (or 5, unfortunately it didn't say so) from a DJ friend of mine and was totally thrilled and I wanted wireless headphones anyway, I thought the X5 BT would be the right choice for me. The Pioneer definitely seems to be more stable than the Sennheiser. But it still doesn't come close to the sound quality of the Sennheiser, which is arguably the best headphones for techno DJs. The sound is very dull. I also find the Pioneer a bit uncomfortable because it presses a lot on the head. The X5BT might be better suited for other styles of music, and Pioneer mixers aren't nearly as good for techno as A&H mixers. So there is a unified picture.

I ordered the headphones in a set for a cheap course. + loud, definable beats. + good acoustic shielding. + good workmanship + reasonable price / performance ratio. -the sound itself is not special. The HDJ-X5 is a good choice for its use as a DJ headphone. As hi-fi headphones, for home music enjoyment, it is unsuitable.

The delivery was already delivered the next day without selecting an express delivery. Thank you very much. The headphones are extremely good in price performance. Very balanced sound spectrum. Subjectively, I would say that compared to much more expensive studio headphones, the midtones are a little bit displaced by highs and lows. Still, it's not too much bass like other DJ headphones. In my opinion, Pioneer has once again launched an amazing device at a good price. :-D
