Product description Pioneer DDJ-SB-L

Two decks and a central two-channel mixer make up the work surface of the Pioneer DDJ-SB-L in blue. The compact DJ controller controls Serato DJ Intro on your computer and gives you direct access to cues, loops, effects and samples. The integrated sound card handles audio output, while the controller is powered via USB.

The performance pads switch between Hot Cues, Auto Loop, manual loop and sampler. Large jog wheels support manual intervention in playback, for example when scratching. For transitions, the Filter-Fade function combines the crossfader with high-pass filters on both decks; each channel also has its own manual high-/low-pass filter.

Two FX units are available per channel. A microphone input accepts a microphone with a 6.3 mm jack plug. For connection to the rest of your setup, there is an RCA master output as well as two headphone outputs: 6.3 mm jack and 3.5 mm mini jack. The connection to the computer is via USB-B; MIDI support is also available.

With USB power and a weight of 2.1 kg, the controller is easy to transport. The blue version is suitable for Serato-based practice and DJ setups that call for two decks, direct pad control and the audio connections listed above.
