Ortofon Super OM 5: The pickup also for ambitious beginners. A modified generator compared to the Ortofon OM 5E makes the difference. For example, hollow pole pins reduce eddy current losses, which benefits the phase linearity. Easy upgrade to higher quality needle cuts (Ortofon Stylus 20, Ortofon Stylus 30 and Ortofon Stylus 40) by replacing the needle carrier.

Suitable for headshells, which only allow a screw connection of the pickup from below, e.g. on older Thorens turntables.
