Product description Ortofon OM Nightclub MK2 Set

A DJ cartridge must also transmit the signal cleanly through a mixer's phono preamp. The elliptically ground Nightclub-MKII cartridge in the OM version is designed for this use and delivers an output voltage of 8 mV. The set also includes a replacement stylus and a stylus brush.

The high output level is suited to the integrated phono preamps in DJ mixers. The tuning also takes the bass and treble reproduction into account. The elliptical stylus profile is also intended for scratch applications; the recommended tracking force is 3 g and falls within the specified range of 2 to 5 g.

As an OM cartridge, it is mounted on the headshell. With the included replacement stylus, you have an additional Nightclub-MKII stylus to hand. The stylus brush is used to clean the stylus.

The set is suitable for DJ turntables with OM mounting if you are looking for a high output level, an elliptical stylus profile and the recommended tracking force of 3 g. Its design for mixer phono preamps and suitability for scratching make it a good fit for club and DJ setups.
