Product description Ortofon Concorde Digitrack Green Twin Set
Timecode vinyl requires reliable tracking, even during scratch movements. The Ortofon Concorde Digitrack Green Twin Set contains two Concorde cartridges designed for use with encoded records and also suitable for conventional vinyl. The design is optimised for low wear on timecode records.
The spherical styli track the groove reliably during mixing and scratching techniques. With an output voltage of 8 mV, the Digitrack delivers a strong signal to the phono input of the DJ mixer; this supports the transmission of the timecode signal to the DJ software. The cartridge can also be used to play standard records.
The Concorde design mounts directly onto a compatible tonearm; no separate alignment is required. A tracking force of 3 g is recommended for operation, with a permissible range of 2 to 4 g. The tracking force is therefore clearly specified and can be adjusted on the tonearm within the stated range.
With two green cartridges, a stylus brush and a case, the set suits DJ setups with two turntables and timecode control. The replacement stylus is not included; the set is suitable for DJs who use timecode vinyl and also want to mix or scratch conventional records.
