Product description Omnitronic GEQ-215 XL

If you want to adjust individual frequency ranges precisely or deal with feedback, you need separate controls for the left and right channels. The OMNITRONIC GEQ-215 XL is a two-channel 15-band equaliser for PA and audio systems. Its 15 faders per channel adjust the frequency response at 2/3-octave intervals.

The 50 mm faders with centre detents make the frequency bands easier to read and adjust. Use the switch to select a control range of ±6 dB or ±15 dB. A switchable 30 Hz low cut attenuates low-frequency signal components; the separate level control for the left and right channels lets you adjust the respective output level.

Use the EQ In/Out switch to compare the processed signal directly with the signal without equalisation. A seven-stage LED level meter with clip indicator helps you monitor levels. A ground lift switch is also included.

XLR, 6.3 mm jack and screw terminals are available at the inputs and outputs. This lets you integrate the equaliser into a range of analogue signal paths. The unit is designed for installation in a 19-inch rack and requires two rack units.

The GEQ-215 XL is suited to a rack or PA setup where you want to process two channels across 15 frequency bands, adjust levels separately and check the EQ effect immediately. Rack mounting and multiple connection options are important considerations when integrating it into your system.
