Product description Omnitronic DPM-1000 PRO

For close miking directly on the instrument, the capsule needs to be positioned close to the sound source and adjusted to the right angle. The OMNITRONIC DPM-1000 PRO is a condenser microphone for drums, percussion and wind instruments, which you attach to the instrument using a rubberised spring clamp. It is suitable for studio and live use.

The miniature gooseneck can be rotated through 230°, allowing you to point the capsule at the desired sound source. The specially damped capsule suspension reduces the transmission of vibrations from the mounting. A windscreen is included.

The cardioid polar pattern primarily picks up sound from the front, helping to provide feedback rejection. The microphone connects via its fixed cable with a balanced, 3-pin XLR connector to a microphone input with phantom power. This must supply between 9 and 52 V DC; if your audio device does not provide phantom power, you can use a separate phantom power supply.

With its clamp, rotatable gooseneck and balanced XLR connection, the microphone is suitable for studio and live setups where you want to mic drums, percussion or wind instruments directly. The sturdy carrying case makes storage and transport easier.
