Product description Omnitronic DD-2250 - Silver

For back-cueing, the platter must quickly reach the desired speed and maintain it reliably. The Omnitronic DD-2250 - Silver is a manual DJ turntable with quartz-controlled direct drive, an S-shaped tonearm and a supplied cartridge system suitable for back-cueing.

The brushless 24 V DC motor supports rapid switching between 33 1/3 and 45 rpm: both speed changes take less than one second, as does the start-up time. Starting torque is greater than 1 kg/cm. Use the slider to adjust the speed by ± 10 %; a strobe light helps you monitor the speed. A large button is provided for starting and stopping.

The S-shaped tonearm is gimbal-mounted. Tracking force and anti-skating can be adjusted; their respective ranges are 0 to 4 g and 0 to 7 g. A separate, retractable stylus light makes it easier to position the stylus in low light.

For integration into a DJ setup, there is an RCA output socket for a beat counter and a jack socket for remote start. The unit has shock-absorbing feet; the package also includes a removable acrylic dust cover and the cartridge system.

With manual operation, pitch control and a remote start connection, the turntable is suitable for DJ applications where you play records and set cue points manually. The 33 1/3 and 45 rpm speeds cover the two available speeds; when planning your setup, check that the specified connections are suitable.
