Product description Numark TT-200

When scratching and cueing backwards quickly, the turntable needs to respond promptly to input. The Numark TT-200 is a manual DJ turntable with direct drive and 1.6 kg/cm starting torque; you can operate it horizontally or vertically and also run the record backwards.

The tonearm is interchangeable to suit different mixing styles: the straight tonearm is included, while an S-shaped tube is available as an option. The height can be adjusted by up to 6 mm, and the anti-skating is adjustable. The damped cue lever lets you lower the stylus onto the record in a controlled way; the arm clip securely holds the tonearm in place when not in use or during transport.

The pitch fader adjusts playback speed within a range of ±10 % and can be replaced if required. Speed selection buttons are provided for 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm; a Quartz button and strobe speed monitoring assist with adjustment. The electronic servo brake stops the platter, while the Reverse function reverses its direction of rotation.

Stereo output is provided via RCA connectors at phono level; a grounding screw is also provided for connecting to a mixer or preamp. Connect the turntable to a phono input, not a line or CD input, and connect the ground wire to avoid hum. An IEC power connection supplies power to the unit.

With a straight tonearm, slipmat and the essential connection cables, this model is suited to vinyl DJ setups that require manual speed and direction control. The three speeds and interchangeable tonearm give you flexibility for different records and DJ workflows.
