When practising at home, it’s useful to be able to hear the mix directly from the controller. The Numark Party Mix Live x HF175 Bundle combines a DJ controller with integrated stereo speakers and matching monitoring headphones. The built-in LEDs respond to the beat of the music; a separate main output is available for connecting to a larger sound system.

Two touch-sensitive jog wheels support scratching and manual timing adjustments. You can shape transitions and match tempos using the pitch controls, Sync buttons and a filter knob for each deck. Each deck also has four performance pads for cue points, loops, effects and samples; a 2-band EQ and library controls round out the mix controls.

The speakers can be switched off, for example when you’re working with headphones. The separate headphone output is for cueing, while the 3.5 mm main output connects to external speakers or an amplifier. To operate the controller, connect it to a computer via USB and power it using the included mains adapter. The package includes a download card for Serato DJ Lite. Algoriddim djay Pro AI and DJ Player Pro are also supported; Android is not supported.

The closed-back HF175 headphones are equipped with 40 mm neodymium drivers. Soft ear pads, an adjustable headband and ear cups that swivel through 180 degrees make single-ear monitoring easier. The single-sided, three-metre cable keeps your workspace tidy.

The bundle is suitable for your first DJ setup or for practising and playing for a small group: controller, speakers and headphones in one set cover mix control, direct listening and headphone monitoring.
