If you want to mix with CDs and control two decks directly via a mixer, you need headphones and suitable connection cables as well as the players. The Numark CD DJ in a Box bundles these components into a complete CD DJ set with two NDX200 CD players, an M1A 2-channel mixer and DJ headphones.

The two robust tabletop players feature large jog wheels for searching and controlling playback. They play audio CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. The buffered anti-shock technology protects playback from dropouts caused by shocks and vibrations. Pitch faders and pitch-bend buttons help you adjust the tempo of tracks while mixing.

For transitions and brief interventions in a track, you can set, play and recall loops on each player. Playback can be set to single-track, continuous or programmed track sequence. You can incorporate seamless loops into the mix while it is playing without interrupting playback.

The M1A brings the two players together on two input channels and features smooth-running faders. A microphone input adds speech transmission capability to the mixer; the main and headphone outputs are used to connect to the sound system and for monitoring. Players and mixer in the same set make it easier to get started with a CD-based DJ setup.
