Product description Numark Controller iDJ Live

For mobile DJ sets with an iOS device, the Numark iDJ Live controls two decks via a DJ app. Connect an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch using the permanently attached cable and access your music library directly from the controller. The model works with almost any iOS DJ software that supports Core MIDI; a compatible device and a suitable app are required and are not included.

Depending on the setting, the two large jog wheels can be used for scratching or searching through a track. In search mode, you can also briefly adjust the tempo during playback to align beats manually. Deck controls include Play/Pause, Set Cue and Return to Cue; a Sync button matches the tempo and beats to those of the other deck.

The central crossfader for blending is complemented by separate volume controls for both decks and a master volume control. Bass and treble can be adjusted per deck. This lets you control the transition between songs and adjust the levels and frequencies of the live mix directly on the device.

A Browse control handles track selection in the software: turn it to scroll through tracks, or press it to open folders or move to the parent folder. An audio preview cable is included for monitoring; it lets you set up cueing through headphones separately from the speaker signal.

The included iPad holder completes the compact setup. The Numark iDJ Live is suitable for mobile DJing with a compatible iOS device when you want to use jog wheels, mixer controls and a separate monitoring option. iOS connectivity with an audio preview cable and integrated two-deck controls define its features.
