Numark CM-100

Turntables, CD players and microphones can be brought together in a single rack mixer when you need enough inputs and separate cueing options. The Numark CM-100 is a four-channel 19-inch DJ mixer with 8 line, 3 phono and 2 microphone inputs. This lets you connect several sources and control their levels separately in the mix.

To monitor, assign cue signals to the channels and balance them with the programme signal using the headphone mix. The split and blend cue mode sends cue and master signals to separate sides of the headphones or mixes both signals on both sides. A PFL level also gives you a reference when cueing and matching input levels.

You can freely assign the crossfader to the channels and replace it if needed. The fader start function lets you remote-start compatible Numark CD players using the crossfader. For microphone announcements, Mic 1 has auto talkover, adjustable talkover and a two-band EQ.

A five-band graphic master EQ with a selectable control range of ±6 or ±12 dB shapes the overall sound. The bands are set at 63 Hz, 250 Hz, 1 kHz, 4 kHz and 16 kHz; a switch on the rear deactivates the EQ. The five frequency bands let you make adjustments from deep bass to high frequencies.

For connecting to your system, there are balanced master outputs in XLR format as well as an unbalanced master output via RCA. There are also RCA outputs for booth and recording. The balanced XLR master output is suitable for connecting to amplifiers or active speakers equipped with matching inputs; master panning and stereo/mono switching provide additional output control.

A BNC connector on the front supplies power to a 12-volt gooseneck lamp. With its 19-inch rack format and weight of 3.2 kg, the mixer fits into installed racks as well as mobile DJ setups, provided you need the variety of analogue sources, the phono connection and the outputs listed above.
