Novation Twitch

With a flexible and high-performance approach, Novation takes digital DJing to a new level. The Twitch DJ controller is specifically designed for creative set crafting and targets DJs who want more than just simple track playback. At the center are two touch-sensitive touchstrips that allow intuitive music navigation – fast-forwarding or rewinding works here as directly as on a smartphone.

A special highlight is the slicer mode, which lets you cut and rearrange beats in real time. For this, you have two banks with eight velocity-sensitive trigger pads each. The pads respond immediately and precisely – ideal for spontaneous performances and creative interventions in your set. Additionally, you can set hot cue points or trigger different loop lengths that you can activate and save directly during playback.

The integrated audio interface with balanced outputs ensures stable and noise-free sound even at higher levels. The Twitch controller is USB-powered, making it especially mobile. It also features a microphone input with gain control and two headphone outputs that can be used simultaneously – practical for cueing together or back-to-back sets.

Twitch was developed in close collaboration with Serato and comes with the specially tuned DJ software Serato Itch. The combination of hardware and software allows a smooth workflow without latency issues. At the same time, the controller is compatible with other programs like Traktor or Ableton, making it very flexible. Thanks to the fader-FX function, effects can be controlled quickly and precisely via the channel faders – a welcome addition for DJs who like to edit their tracks live.
