New Standalone MPC Models by Akai - Akai MPC X & Akai MPC Live
There is news again from Akai. The popular MPC series has been revised and adapted to the expectations and requirements of users in 2017.
In addition to large touchscreens, which make working significantly easier, the 2 new MPCs can be operated both with the in-house MPC Software 2.0 and standalone. Akai has thus listened to the numerous calls from fans who finally wanted a "real" MPC again that can also be used without a computer.
Both MPCs are well equipped with inputs and outputs and can also score with a number of MIDI connections. This makes the MPC the central hub of your setup once again.
Tidy: The MPC X features a gigantic 10.1-inch touchscreen and in-house MPC 2.0 software. Operation, chopping and shifting thus become child's play.
Connected: Numerous connection options make the new MPC flagship the ideal candidate for a complete work environment that handles all MIDI devices under one roof.
Powerful: The smaller sibling MPC Live comes with a slightly smaller 7-inch touchscreen and a built-in battery with a runtime of 4 hours. This allows you to realise complete song ideas even on the go.
Connections: The MPC Live is, of course, somewhat smaller than the large X flagship. Nevertheless, all relevant and important connections are compactly packed on the back.
