Moog Matriarch Dark Edition

The Matriarch Dark Edition is the new color variant of the Moog Matriarch, with a new "all black" look reminiscent of the control panels of classic Moog modular systems.

The Moog Matriarch is a 4-voice analog synthesizer featuring a new selection of modules from the Moog tradition in a new semi-modular configuration designed to redefine the standards of the category. Equipped with a 49-key keyboard with patchable velocity and aftertouch section, the most interesting features include a 256-step sequencer, arpeggiator, stereo ladder filters and stereo analog delay. The Matriarch requires no patches to create complex and expressive sounds, and is designed to be the new top of Moog's offering in the semi-modular/Eurorack compatible category.

Bob Moog's original designs, reworked to best integrate with DAWs, MIDI instruments, and a wide variety of Eurorack modular systems, are revived in a gorgeous, yet accessible, semi-modular configuration. The Matriarch harmonizes perfectly with other family members such as DFAM, Mother-32 or Grandmother, enriching and governing an already rich semi-modular ecosystem with a traditional analog base sound.

The Matriarch's 100% analog signal path creates a dynamic soundstage that ranges from monophonic bass to paraphonic peaks, perfectly unfolding through different waveforms. For the first time together, Moog's Matriarch features the power of stereo ladder filters inspired by the classic 904A, 911-based envelopes, a stereo analog delay based on the MF-104M and Moog's 500 series module, a stereo VCA based on the classic 902 module, and a 256-step sequencer - all in an extremely eye-catching guise.
