Product description Monster In-Ear N-Ergy

When you are not wearing the in-ear headphones, integrated magnets hold the earpieces together: this lets you wear the Monster In-Ear N-Ergy around your neck. The wired model is a binaural in-ear headphone with enhanced bass and a ControlTalk cable remote. It was developed in collaboration with Nick Cannon.

Eartips in various sizes help you adjust the fit to your ears. The flat cable is designed to resist tangling and is approximately 1.2 m long. The magnets in the earpieces hold them together when not in use; the angled, low-profile plug does not protrude much when the connected device is in a pocket.

With ControlTalk Universal, you can control music using the cable and use the integrated microphone for phone calls. The control unit is designed for controlling mobile phones and MP3 players; Apple iPod and iPad are listed as supported remote-control devices. Skype use is also mentioned. Available functions depend on the connected device.

Connection is via a 3.5 mm jack plug; Bluetooth and USB are not available. According to the technical specifications, the closed-back headphones cover a frequency range of 10 Hz to 20 kHz and have an impedance of 32 ohms. This makes the model suitable for wired playback sources with a compatible jack output, and it is designed for mobile music control and phone calls.

At around 16 g, the headphones remain lightweight; the stated packaged weight is 0.3 kg. The Monster In-Ear N-Ergy is suitable for your mobile setup if you are looking for wired in-ear headphones with a microphone, remote control and earpieces that connect magnetically.
