Mixvibes Cross DJ

When DJing digitally, your music collection, decks and timing need to work together. Mixvibes Software Cross DJ combines music management and a virtual mixer: you can import tracks from your library or via iTunes integration and mix them using manual or automatic loops.

The media browser helps you search for and organise tracks. Artwork browsing and playlist visualisation complement the track lists; a tag editor lets you edit multiple entries, while Smart Media Preview helps you preview tracks and Missing Media Manager helps you find missing files. A colour code indicates the media status.

Pitch control and Master Tempo are available for mixing. Four pitch ranges from ±8 to ±100 per cent cover both fine tempo adjustments and significant speed changes. The waveform synchronisation monitor helps you navigate between the decks; the waveform can be zoomed.

When navigating through a track, you can choose between CDJ shuttle and vinyl modes. Z Plane High End Time Scratch adds to the scratch functions. Files can be imported while the software is running, including from an external hard drive.

This makes the software suitable for DJ setups where you want to load tracks from an existing music library, use loops, and adjust the tempo and playback position. Windows and Mac system requirements are listed below; take them into account when choosing your computer.
