M-Audio M-Track EIGHT

M-Audio adds M-Track Eight, a 24-bit USB audio interface with eight channels, optimized signal path, 112dB signal-to-noise ratio and no-latency monitoring to the existing M-Track series. M-Track Eight ships with Avid Pro Tools Express and an iLok USB Key.

The signal conversion in the interface takes place in up to 24-bit / 96 kHz (max.). Since Interface has eight XLR/Line (6.3 mm) combo inputs, a wide variety of audio sources can be connected to. All combination inputs automatically detect whether a signal is present via microphone or line. In addition, there is a switch for instrument level in the front side channels 1 and 2, which can also be accessed quickly in the rack.

For the use of condenser microphones, 48 V phantom power can be activated in two banks. Audio output is through eight 6.3 mm jack outputs, two 6.3 mm stereo output pairs with A/B controls for connecting to monitors or a PA, and two 6.3 mm headphone outputs that alternatively transmit the signal from outputs 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. M-Track Eight is compatible with Mac OSX class, for Windows PCs a driver is included.

The audio interface combines practical design with extensive features, making it ideal for recording bands, drum kits or other multi-mic applications.
