Product description Korg KROSS 2 - 61

A band rehearsal, a song draft, and a stage performance do not require three different keyboards. Things get practical when sounds, sequences, samples, and connections come together in one instrument that can also be used without a power outlet. That is exactly what the Korg KROSS 2 - 61 is built for: as a lightweight synthesizer workstation with 61 keys for playing, arranging, and capturing musical ideas directly.

Korg KROSS 2 - 61 - Shape sounds instead of searching for a long time

Shape sounds instead of searching for a long time

More than 1,000 preset sounds cover piano, electric piano, organ, strings, brass, synthesizers, and drums. The EDS-i sound engine works with up to 120 voices in single mode and combines the sounds with 134 effect types, including reverb, delay, amp modelling, and vocoder.

128 MB of PCM expansion memory are available for your own sound library. Realtime controls bring important parameters directly to the control panel, while Quick Layer and Split allow two sounds to be quickly layered or distributed across separate keyboard ranges.

Korg KROSS 2 - 61 - Sampler pads for fills and custom sounds

Sampler pads for fills and custom sounds

The 16 velocity-sensitive pads record samples, play audio files, and trigger phrases at the right moment. Eight pad banks each create space for different sets, for example for effects, vocal samples, loops, or musical fills.

Material can be recorded directly via the LINE IN input; WAV files can also be imported. In sampler mode, up to four pads can be played simultaneously. A separate audio recorder also saves longer recordings to an SD card.

Korg KROSS 2 - 61 - From pattern to complete arrangement

From pattern to complete arrangement

The integrated 16-track MIDI sequencer captures song ideas without a computer and manages up to 128 songs. The step sequencer, drum track, and arpeggiator provide rhythmic and melodic building blocks that can be refined directly with the internal sounds.

There are 128 favorite slots for accessing frequently used programs and combinations. This saves time on stage when multiple setups need to be ready in a specific order.

Korg KROSS 2 - 61 - Mobile connectivity

Mobile connectivity

At 3.8 kg excluding batteries, the 61-key version remains easy to transport. Six AA batteries or the included power adapter power the workstation, allowing it to be used for rehearsals, sessions, and small stages without a power socket.

MIC IN and LINE IN record external signals; the instrument can be integrated into further setups via the main outputs, the headphone jack, and USB-B. Via USB, it functions as an audio and MIDI interface for connection to a computer.

Korg KROSS 2 - 61 - The Korg KROSS 2 - 61 for flexible keyboard setups

The Korg KROSS 2 - 61 for flexible keyboard setups

This workstation suits keyboardists, songwriters, and producers who want to select sounds, incorporate their own samples, and arrange ideas directly. The low weight is also a clear advantage for musicians with changing rehearsal rooms or live acts.

Anyone who quickly switches between layers, splits, and saved sounds on stage will benefit from the controls and the favorite memory. With sampler pads, audio inputs, and a sequencer, the Korg KROSS 2 - 61 becomes a compact hub for playable sounds and original song sketches.

korg kross 2 88 matte black top view
Korg KROSS 2 - 88 Matte Black

If you play piano parts with both hands, you do not want to operate a workstation that feels like a light synthesizer keyboard under your fingers. The Korg KROSS 2 - 88 Matte Black therefore combines a weighted 88-key mechanism with an extensive sound library, sampling, and sequencing in an instrument that can also work without a power outlet. Weighted keyboard for piano and more The 88 keys with Natural Weighted Hammer Action react with more resistance in the lower range than in the upper, thus mimicking the playing feel of an acoustic piano. This suits dynamic piano parts just as well as pads, organs, and synth sounds that can be distributed across the entire keyboard. Aftertouch is not available. For direct expression, there is a pitch bend wheel, a modulation wheel, and two switches. The non-slip, rubberised surface in matte black remains pleasantly subtle and fits perfectly on stage as well as in the home studio. Find and shape sounds quickly The EDS-i sound engine works with more than 1,000 pre-installed sounds. Additionally, there is memory available for optional PCM libraries. Using the category dial, favourites, and quick layer/split functions, you can call up suitable sounds without navigating long menus and combine them directly on the keyboard if needed. For editing, there are five insert effects and two master effects available, with a total of 134 types. Two real-time controllers allow for quick access to selected parameters. This allows for direct control of filter sweeps, effect levels, or other sound changes while playing. Sampler, sequencer, and audio directly in the instrument The 16 pads operate as a pad sampler with eight banks. You can import WAV files, record your own samples, and play up to four pads simultaneously. This allows you to integrate musical interjections, short sound fragments, or prepared audio elements into a set without needing an external sampler. The 16-track MIDI sequencer, step sequencer, drum track, and arpeggiator help with sketching and developing songs. An audio recorder saves WAV recordings to an SD card. For voice or instruments, there is a mic input and a stereo line input; the vocoder uses the microphone signal for speech-like synth sounds. Connections and mobile operation Via USB Type B, you can integrate the workstation as a USB audio and MIDI interface into your computer setup. MIDI In/Out, a stereo output, a headphone connection, and inputs for a damper pedal, foot switch, and expression pedal complete the equipment for stage and studio use. The instrument runs on the included power supply or with six AA batteries. Depending on the battery type and usage, the battery life is approximately six to seven hours. Weighing 12.3 kg, the 88-key version remains easy to handle for rehearsals, gigs, and changing locations despite the weighted mechanism. The Korg KROSS 2 - 88 Matte Black in your setup This workstation is suitable for keyboardists, songwriters, and pianists who want to use a weighted keyboard with production tools in one device. It combines piano playing, a wide sound selection, and your own audio ideas without needing a separate module for every step. On stage, you can quickly access favourite sounds, splits, layers, and pads. In the studio, the USB audio/MIDI, sequencer, and recorder connect the instrument with existing ideas or a computer. If you develop songs on a keyboard but still want to play a pianist-style keyboard, you get a versatile centrepiece for your setup here. Roland E-X50

When a left hand dictates chords and an idea turns into a complete arrangement, the character of a small band quickly emerges. The Roland E-X50 combines this working method with a 61-note touch-sensitive keyboard, an integrated speaker system, and an interface for playing, practicing, and performing. Sounds for piano, band, and regional music The sound engine works with 433 sounds plus 256 GM2 sounds, including acoustic and electric pianos, organs, guitars, basses, orchestral instruments, synthesizers, and percussion sounds. With 256 notes of polyphony, even dense arrangements, sustained chords, and multiple parts played simultaneously remain cleanly playable. 300 styles and auto-accompaniment The 300 preset styles cover pop, rock, jazz, ballads, dance, and regional musical styles, among others. The auto-accompaniment follows the chords played by the left hand; the Auto-Bass-Chord mode triggers chords with one or two fingers, while the Whole mode processes full chord voicings. For your own routines, the keyboard saves up to 30 user styles. With the E-X Style Converter software for Windows and macOS, you can organize styles and load them into the memory. Four One-Touch settings per style and eight registration banks with four memory slots each accelerate the switching between prepared setups. Speakers, microphone, and connections Two 12 cm speakers and two 3 cm tweeters operate with an output power of 2 x 10 watts. The stereo system is suitable for playing at home, rehearsing without additional speakers, and smaller musical gatherings. You can also practice quietly using the headphone jack. A microphone input integrates vocals directly; a 3-band EQ as well as reverb, chorus, and delay effects are available for this purpose. The two 6.3 mm outputs route the signal to a PA or a larger sound system if required. A pedal connection, USB-B for the computer, and USB-A for a USB flash drive complete the connections. Bluetooth audio and USB playback Via Bluetooth 5.0 for audio, you can stream songs from a smartphone or tablet through the keyboard speakers and play along. USB flash drives are used for audio pads, backups, and the playback of WAV and MP3 files. The device can also record and play back standard MIDI files in format 0. Who is the Roland E-X50 suitable for? The Roland E-X50 is suitable for beginners, returning players, and keyboardists who want to make music with piano sounds, auto-accompaniment, and speakers without additional equipment. For vocals, small performances, or playing together, the microphone input, along with the stereo outputs, provides a practical foundation. Those who prepare their own styles and want to cover regional moods or different song genres will find memory slots and the appropriate software for this. Roland Fantom-06

An idea often begins with a sound, but then requires an instrument that does not pull arrangement, performance, and recording apart. The Roland FANTOM-06 bundles these workflow steps into a 61-key workstation with direct operation, an integrated sequencer, and extensive sound generation. Sound generation with 16 zones ZEN-Core forms the foundation for electronic sounds, complemented by SuperNATURAL Acoustic, SuperNATURAL Piano and Electric Piano, as well as a Virtual ToneWheel Organ. At least 3,500 tones and 90 drum kits provide material for productions, band sets, and your own performances. A scene saves the settings of all 16 internal and external zones, including effects and patterns. This allows you to manage various layers, splits, and external sound generators in a tidy setup and recall them without having to rebuild them. Sequencer, sampling, and performance pads The pattern sequencer works with 16 MIDI tracks and supports real-time recording, step recording, and TR-REC mode. Patterns can be recorded and triggered directly, while the SMF player plays back MIDI files in format 0 and 1. Keyboard multisampling and pad sampling are available for your own audio material. WAV and AIFF files with 16 or 24 bit at 44.1 or 48 kHz can be imported; the 16 RGB pads distribute pad samples across four banks and also handle DAW or zone control if required. User interface for quick adjustments The 5.5-inch colour touchscreen with 1,280 x 720 pixels complements the physical controls instead of replacing them. Eight knobs, eight faders, function buttons, sound modify knobs, as well as a pitch/mod lever and illuminated wheels give you direct access to sound and performance parameters. This is particularly practical when sounds need to be changed during a song or a layer needs to be adjusted spontaneously. Patterns, zones, and effects remain accessible via scenes and the control panel without having to switch between different working modes. Audio, MIDI, and computer integration Via USB, the workstation acts as an audio and MIDI interface and integrates natively with Logic Pro, MainStage, and Ableton Live. The interface processes up to 24 bit and 96 kHz, records 16 stereo channels, and plays back two stereo channels. For a standalone live or studio set, main out, sub out, headphone jacks, MIDI in/out, pedal inputs, and USB memory are available. Two microphone inputs, a stereo line input, and the integrated vocoder expand the scope for voice and additional audio sources. Which setups is the Roland FANTOM-06 suitable for? The Roland FANTOM-06 is suitable for keyboardists, producers, and live acts who want to combine many sounds, samples, and external devices on a central keyboard. The 61 synth-action keys keep the instrument highly portable at 6.0 kg in weight, while scenes, zones, and the sequencer clearly organise even complex setups. In the studio, it connects sound design, pattern recording, and computer integration. On stage, prepared layers, splits, and accompaniments can be called up directly from the instrument, allowing you to focus on your playing and arrangement. roland fantom 07 top
Roland Fantom-07

A song rarely grows in a straight line. First, there is a piano chord, then a synth bass is added, later the stage needs different layers and an external device is meant to run along too. The Roland FANTOM-07 combines these workflows into a 76-key workstation that integrates sounds, sequencing, sampling and control directly on the instrument. 76 keys for flexibility and transport The velocity-sensitive keyboard with 76 synth-action keys offers significantly more space than a 61-key keyboard, while remaining easy to integrate into a mobile setup at 7.0 kg. The format is suitable for two-handed playing with piano, pad and split sounds without taking on the dimensions of a weighted stage piano. Sound architecture with piano, synth and organ ZEN-Core forms the basis for electronic sounds and is complemented by SuperNATURAL Acoustic, SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano and SuperNATURAL Electric Piano. The Virtual ToneWheel Organ adds an independent organ engine to the instrument. More than 3,500 tones and over 90 drum kits provide a broad starting point for productions, rehearsals and live sets. Scenes and zones for prepared setups A Scene saves the settings of a complete setup. The Roland FANTOM-07 manages 16 internal and external zones, allowing layers, splits, effects and MIDI devices to be organised together. 128 Scenes in four banks help you call up songs or production projects in just a few steps. For cohesive performances, the Scene Chain arranges up to 16 Scenes on 32 pages. This allows you to prepare fixed sequences and keep sound changes in your set trackable. The zones control both internal sound sources and external MIDI hardware. Patterns, pads and direct sound design The clip-based pattern sequencer captures ideas directly and retrieves them again. The TR-REC sequencer is based on the working principle of classic Roland drum machines. The 4x4 pad matrix can be used to trigger samples, notes, zones and rhythm patterns, among other things. Your own audio files are also part of the workflow: the keyboard imports WAV and AIFF samples for multisampling. This allows prepared sound components, your own recordings or signature one-shots to become part of a Scene without having to plan for a separate computer as a central sound source. Operation and interfaces in the studio A 5.5-inch colour touch display, eight knobs, eight faders and dedicated sound controls bring important parameters to the surface. Pitch/mod levers, wheels and performance pads complement the operation. This allows sounds to be shaped while playing without having to work through multiple menu pages for every change. Via USB, the workstation works as an audio and MIDI interface with up to 24-bit and 96 kHz. Main and sub outputs, microphone and stereo line input, MIDI In/Out as well as three pedal connections create connection points for a studio or stage setup. Who is the Roland FANTOM-07 suitable for? The Roland FANTOM-07 is aimed at keyboardists, producers and live musicians who want to prepare various sound tasks on a central keyboard. The 76 keys provide space for piano parts, splits and two-handed playing, while Scenes and zones clearly store recurring song setups. If you work with your own samples, integrate hardware via MIDI or want to supplement a DAW via USB audio and MIDI, the workstation combines these paths in one user interface. Direct controllers and the pre-configurable Scene structure support you in capturing ideas and calling up sounds precisely during a performance. Roland Fantom-08

A musical idea can quickly become confusing when piano, synth pads, samples, and external sound generators are spread across separate devices. The Roland Fantom-08 consolidates these tasks into an 88-key workstation with a weighted keyboard, extensive sound generation, a sequencer, and connectivity for a growing studio or live setup. PHA-4 keyboard for piano and performance The 88 keys of the PHA-4 Standard keyboard feature a weighted action, escapement, and an Ivory Feel surface. This allows the instrument to be played as directly for piano and electric piano parts as it is for layered sounds where the keyboard controls multiple zones simultaneously. The workstation manages 16 internal and external zones. This means your own sounds, a connected hardware synthesizer, and software instruments can be combined within a single scene. Scenes store layers, effects, and patterns, providing complete setups for songs, rehearsals, or stage sets. ZEN-Core, SuperNATURAL and expandable sound engine The sound engine combines ZEN-Core with SuperNATURAL Acoustic, SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano, SuperNATURAL Electric Piano, and the Virtual ToneWheel Organ. Out of the box, there are at least 3,500 tones and 90 drum kits available, allowing you to arrange acoustic instruments, electronic sounds, and drum parts without needing additional sound modules. The sound library can be expanded via installable Model Expansions, Wave Expansions, and Sound Packs. Your own 16 or 24-bit WAV or AIFF files at 44.1 or 48 kHz can be used as keyboard multisamples. Up to 2,048 samples and 128 multisamples provide space for your own instruments and custom timbres. Sequencer, pads and effects directly in the instrument The integrated pattern sequencer features 16 MIDI tracks and supports real-time recording, step recording, and TR-REC. Patterns can be organised into scenes, while SMF files can be imported and exported. This is ideal for drafting, arrangement work, and prepared sequences for live performance. The 4x4 performance pads control the pad sampler, among other functions. This provides 16 pads across four banks and can process up to approximately 60 minutes of audio material. Additionally, there is an extensive effects section with multi-effects, part EQs, TFX, chorus, reverb, compressor, input effects, and a vocoder. Touchscreen and connections for a connected setup The 5.5-inch colour touchscreen with 1,280 x 720 pixels complements eight knobs, eight faders, and other direct control elements. This keeps sounds, zones, sequences, and effects accessible on the instrument without needing to navigate through menus for every adjustment. For external devices, main and sub outputs, a stereo line input, a microphone input, MIDI In/Out, USB Memory, USB Computer, and three pedal jacks are provided. Via USB, the keyboard functions as a 24-bit/96-kHz audio interface with 16 stereo recording channels and two stereo playback channels. When does the Roland Fantom-08 fit into your setup? The Roland Fantom-08 is suitable for keyboardists, producers, and live musicians who want to combine a weighted 88-key keyboard with a versatile sound base and central control. Its zones, MIDI, and USB connectivity make it a sensible hub when using hardware, computers, and your own samples together. Roland GO:KEYS 3

A song often starts not with a finished idea, but with a chord progression, a rhythm, or a sound that suddenly sticks. The Roland GO:KEYS 3 quickly gives such approaches a shape: you play on 61 touch-sensitive keys, build accompaniments, and capture your own sketches directly in the keyboard. Sounds and playing feel for your own ideas The ZEN-Core sound engine with 1,154 sounds covers pianos, orchestral instruments, synthesizers, guitars, and drums. The 61 box-shape keys respond to your playing strength; nine velocity curves and a fixed mode help to adapt the playing feel to your hands. Dual and split modes combine two sounds or divide the keyboard into sections. With pitch bend, arpeggiator, transpose, and octave shift, the keyboard remains directly controllable even when a simple melody is to become a fully worked-out part. Accompaniments, chord progressions and performance effects 203 accompaniment styles provide a musical framework for melodies and solos. The 304 preset chord progressions can be started, varied, and used as a starting point for your own songs; four variations and the muting of individual parts add movement to bass, drums, and accompaniment. Filters, lo-fi sounds, and beat slicing process the overall sound while you play. When building your own chord progressions, you can control the accompaniment with your left hand and play melodies, arpeggios, or solos with your right hand. Recording, playing back and connecting to devices The GO:KEYS 3 saves your ideas in Roland MIDI format or as a WAV recording at 44.1 kHz and 16-bit on a USB flash drive. The keyboard uses the same port to play back MIDI files, WAVs, and MP3s, allowing you to play along to songs or backing tracks. Bluetooth 5.0 transmits audio and MIDI, while USB-C works as class-compliant for audio and MIDI with a computer or mobile device. A USB-A port accepts storage media and supports the optional Roland Cloud Connect WC-1; headphones and a hold pedal can be connected via dedicated jacks. Speakers and power supply in everyday life Two speakers, each measuring 12 x 6 cm, make the instrument ready to play without an additional sound system. For quiet practice sessions, you can connect headphones; the 4.5 kg lightweight keyboard can also be operated with eight AA batteries or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. With alkaline batteries, the runtime is approximately five hours, and with 1,900 mAh Ni-MH batteries, approximately six hours. The power adapter and power cord are included, so the GO:KEYS 3 can be used at home immediately. When does the Roland GO:KEYS 3 fit your musical ideas? The Roland GO:KEYS 3 is aimed at people who want to experiment with sounds, combine chords, and develop their first original pieces. The accompaniment functions provide structure while playing, while sounds, split mode, and performance effects leave enough room for personal ideas. It fits well in the living room, in the rehearsal room, or as a mobile keyboard for lessons and song sketches. If you want to play songs via Bluetooth, practice with headphones, or save recordings to USB, you get a direct path from your first musical idea to an audible sketch. Korg KAOSS PAD V

An effects unit becomes truly interesting when it is not just sitting next to your setup, but becomes part of the performance. The Korg KAOSS PAD V combines a touch-sensitive XY-pad with a sampler, vocal processing, and flexible connectivity, allowing you to shape, record, and further process sound directly. Two fingers, multiple movements On the illuminated pad, you control effects using the position of your fingers. In suitable programs, the dual-touch operation allows for two points of contact simultaneously, for instance for filter and delay or pitch and reverb. This creates transitions and sound movements directly from your gesture, instead of you having to work on multiple knobs one after the other. Eight buttons store frequently used programs as favourites. For custom adjustments, 100 user programs are available; the KPV Editor expands editing on the computer by adding settings for parameters, programs, and pad illumination. Effects for signals, voice and instrument The effects library draws on the character of earlier KAOSS PAD generations and ranges from filters, delays, reverbs, and modulation to vocal effects. The Voice-FX-Engine processes vocals with harmonies, pitch effects, and electronic timbres, without requiring a separate vocal processor unit in your setup. A microphone can be connected via the combined MIC/GUITAR input. The Hi-Z input also records electric guitar or bass directly. This way, you can process an instrument or vocals on the pad and combine them with line signals or computer audio. Capturing and evolving samples Ideas do not end with the effect: The unit records material into four sample banks. Up to eight bars are possible per recording, depending on the tempo. With overdub, you add new layers on top, while Gate Hold keeps the material locked to the BPM grid. Multiple playback and slice modes break down loops or reassemble them. This is perfect for short live remixes, spontaneous transitions in a DJ set, and arrangements that are meant to grow during a session. SD or SDHC cards provide storage space for data and samples. Direct connections LINE IN and OUTPUT L/R use RCA jacks. In addition, there is MIDI IN/OUT, a 6.3 mm stereo headphone output, and USB Type B. Via the integrated USB audio interface, you can record signals with your computer, edit them, or incorporate them into a stream. MIC, LINE, and USB signals can be used in parallel within a setup. This keeps the signal path from the microphone, instrument, or media player to the effects unit clear, even when you are bringing together a DAW, livestream, and hardware. The Korg KAOSS PAD V for performative setups The Korg KAOSS PAD V is suitable for DJs, live acts, producers, and streamers who want not just to engage effects, but to play them audibly. It is particularly useful for setups involving vocals, guitar, bass, or line sources, where sampling and live processing are closely linked. Anyone who wants to shape transitions, vocal sounds, or loop ideas with their hands gets a compact tool with intuitive operation and enough memory for their own programs. The combination of touchpad, sampler, and USB audio makes it a cohesive addition to performance and production. Korg KingKORG NEO Top View
Korg KingKORG NEO

A viable synth sound is rarely created in the computer first. When filters, envelopes, and effects are right in front of you, sound ideas stay in the flow instead of getting stuck in menus. The Korg KingKORG NEO combines this direct workflow with a compact 37-key keyboard and versatile virtual analogue sound generation. XMT sound engine for layered sounds The XMT engine works with up to two timbres that can be organised as layers or splits. Each timbre features three oscillators, with a selection ranging from classic analogue waves and noise to DWGS, PCM, and MIC IN. With up to 24 voices of polyphony, even broader pads, chords, and layered sounds remain playable. Instead of building every oscillator from scratch, you choose suitable algorithms and then shape them further using the controls. This keeps the path from the initial sound to your own variation short and makes the synthesiser interesting for both quick stage preparations and detailed sound design. Filters and modulation at your fingertips For the character of a sound, you can choose from 18 filter types as low-pass, high-pass, or band-pass. The filter section incorporates modelled timbres from various synthesizer traditions and also allows for self-oscillation at high resonance. This allows you to clearly differentiate basses, leads, and moving pads from one another. Two envelopes, two LFOs, and six virtual patch assignments per timbre give you plenty of scope for movement within the sound. For example, you can link pitch, filter cutoff, or other target parameters with envelopes, LFOs, or the joystick without having to use external modulation hardware. Three effect blocks and a step arpeggiator The signal path includes three separate effect sections for PRE FX, MOD FX, and REV/DELAY, as well as an additional 2-band EQ. Distortion and amp simulations are included, as are chorus, phaser, rotary, hall, plate, or BPM delay. Dedicated controls per effect area make changes easy to understand while playing. The step arpeggiator generates rhythmic patterns with up to eight steps from played chords. Six operating modes, including Up, Down, Random, and Trigger, help you to develop a structured accompaniment or a recurring hook from a held chord. Vocoder with included microphone Using the front-panel balanced XLR input, you can connect the included microphone directly. The 16-band vocoder features Formant Shift and Formant Hold, allowing you to combine speech and synth sounds in a targeted manner. Timbre B can also serve as a modulator, opening up further combinations within the instrument. For prepared setups, 300 programmes are available, divided into 200 presets and 100 user memory slots. Eight categories make it easy to find a starting point; five favourite banks with eight slots each keep frequently used sounds quickly accessible during rehearsals, recordings, or performances. Korg KingKORG NEO for your setup with keys and vocoder The Korg KingKORG NEO is suitable for keyboardists, producers, and live musicians who are looking for a compact keyboard with direct access to many sound forms. The 37 keys with attack and release velocity support expressive playing, while layers, splits, arpeggiator, and favourite memory allow the instrument to be integrated into different setups. The combination of the XMT engine, filter selection, and three effect blocks also provides a coherent foundation for songs with distinctive vocoder passages, wide-ranging pads, or punchy synth basses. MIDI In/Out, USB-B, and connections for damper and external pedals make the synthesiser a flexible part of any existing keyboard rig. Features Korg KingKORG NEO Virtual analogue synthesiser with XMT sound engine and 37 keys 37 full-size, attack and release velocity sensitive keys Up to 24 voices of polyphony and two timbres for layer or split Three oscillators per timbre with analogue, noise, DWGS, PCM, and MIC IN types 138 oscillator types and 18 low-pass, high-pass, or band-pass filter types Two envelopes, two LFOs, and six virtual patch assignments per timbre Three effect sections plus 2-band EQ with a total of 18 effect types 16-band vocoder with Formant Shift and Formant Hold 300 programmes with 200 presets, 100 user memory slots, and favourite banks Step arpeggiator with up to eight steps and six operating modes Balanced XLR microphone input as well as MIDI In/Out and USB-B Includes power supply, vocoder microphone, and windscreen Technical specifications Keyboard37 keys | attack and release velocity sensitive Sound generationXMT (eXpanded Modeling Technology) Maximum polyphony24 voices Timbres2 | Layer | Split Oscillators3 per timbre | 138 types Filters1 per timbre | 18 types | LPF | HPF | BPF Modulation2 EG | 2 LFO | 6 virtual patches per timbre EffectsPRE FX | MOD FX | REV/DELAY | 2-band EQ Vocoder16 bands | Formant Shift | Formant Hold Programmes300 | 200 presets | 100 user programmes Audio inputXLR | balanced | maximum +5 dBu Audio outputsL/MONO | R | 6.3 mm jack | unbalanced Headphone output6.3 mm stereo jack | 60 mW + 60 mW at 33 ohms Other connectionsDamper | Switch/Pedal | MIDI In | MIDI Out | USB-B Power supplyDC 12 V power adapter Power consumption9 W Weight3.1 kg Dimensions (W x D x H)565 x 338 x 92 mm Included in delivery Korg KingKORG NEO synthesiser Power adapter Vocoder microphone Windscreen for the vocoder microphone

Korg Wavestate MKII

A sound does not have to unfold in the same way every time you press a key. Especially with soundscapes, rhythmic textures, or moving sequences, an arrangement thrives when details shift and reassemble themselves. The Korg Wavestate MKII makes this evolution the core of its concept and brings it to a compact keyboard with 37 keys. Wave Sequencing with independent lanes The Wave Sequencing 2.0 engine does not treat timing, sample sequence, and pitch as a fixed block. Each of these layers runs in its own lane and can be shaped separately in terms of length, loops, and start points. This allows a sound to bloom differently with every note, without losing the fundamental musical idea. For rhythmic figures, changing percussion samples, and long pads, this is more than an ordinary step sequencer. Gate times, shapes, and step sequencer values are also part of the sequence structure. Randomization functions can vary the order or skipped steps, adding controllable restlessness to the material. Direct access instead of menu diving Eight freely assignable mod knobs, pitch bend and modulation wheels, as well as the Vector Joystick are immediately available on the surface. Depending on the sound, the knobs are pre-assigned in a meaningful way and can simultaneously be used as a starting point for your own modulations. Almost all parameters can serve as modulation targets, right down to individual steps of a Wave Sequence. The four layers of a performance can be mixed using the joystick and the Vector Envelope. Each layer has its own program, an arpeggiator, and zones for keyboard and velocity. This creates split sounds, wide soundscapes, or combinations of a rhythmic foundation and a playable lead melody in a single performance slot. Samples, filters, and effects The synthesizer operates with 96 stereo voices and comes factory-loaded with 261 performances, 799 programs, and 1,042 Wave Sequences. Additionally, 4 GB of memory for your own samples are available. The Sample Builder assists in transferring your own sound sources, while the Editor/Librarian manages sounds and detailed parameters on your computer. For sound shaping, there is a choice of classic and modern filter types, including MS-20 low-pass and high-pass as well as Polysix. Pre FX, Mod FX, and Delay are located in the program; Reverb and a 4-band EQ are part of the performance. This allows individual layers to be treated differently before they merge into a complete sound. Does the Korg Wavestate MKII fit your setup? roland rpu 3 side angle view
Roland RPU-3

When playing the piano, the foot often determines the duration of a note, the damping, and the musical resonance. The Roland RPU-3 combines sustain, soft, and sostenuto pedals into a single unit, adding the familiar pedal configuration of a grand piano to compatible digital pianos or keyboards. Three pedals with separate connections Each pedal features its own 6.35 mm jack output. This allows the unit to be connected to instruments that provide separate pedal inputs. The permanently attached cable is 130 cm long and ends in stereo jack plugs at the three outputs. The integrated design keeps the three pedals securely in place in front of the instrument. When playing, the functions are available side-by-side without the need to move or realign individual pedals in the footwell. Half-pedal operation for nuanced damping Compatible Roland pianos support half-pedal operation with the RPU-3. The pedal position can be used in increments to allow notes to decay in a controlled manner and to dose the reverberation more finely while playing. The three pedals are based on the classic grand piano configuration. This is particularly practical if you want to apply a playing style on a digital piano that is aligned with acoustic pianos and grand pianos. Hands-free control of additional functions With appropriately equipped Roland instruments, the connections also take on control tasks outside of the pedal functions. Registrations can be selected with your foot; on the FP-90, for example, pedals can activate vocal effects. Your hands remain on the keyboard while you trigger a function directly during your performance. When is the Roland RPU-3 a useful addition to your piano setup? The Roland RPU-3 is suitable for pianists, keyboardists, and stage musicians who use a compatible Roland digital piano or keyboard with three separate pedal inputs. It creates a tidy pedal position and provides you with sustain, soft, and sostenuto right at your feet. For expressive playing and functions that can be switched during performance, the pedal unit becomes an essential part of your setup.
