Korg Kaossilator Pro Plus

The Korg Kaossilator Pro+ is an innovative, distinguished Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer that lets you perform and create multi-layered music in any style with just the touch of a finger. By simply stroking, tapping or rubbing the touchpad, you have the possibility to create musical melodies and phrases with ease thanks to its unique interface. Vertical motions control aspects of the tone, such as filter cutoff, feedback or modulation depth, whereas horizontal motions control the pitch.

The Korg is a highly-evolved model and belongs to the popular Kaossilator series. This series represents the forerunner of unique instruments that made it easy for anyone to play musical melodies and phrases. The Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer can also be used as a Loop Recorder and provides a rich variety of sounds that made it not merely a live performance instrument, but also a track-making tool.

You can set Loop Recording for up to four measures (16 beats.) Performances on the Korg Kaossilator Pro+ can be recorded into any of the four onboard internal Loop Recorder Banks. You can create amazing looped phrases that range from minimal to fully orchestrated by adding (overdubbing) additional sounds one at a time. It's also possible to combine the four banks for virtually infinite performance possibilities. You can mute or un-mute each of the four loop banks, adjust its volume and change its loop length which makes live performance easy for anyone.

The Korg Kaossilator Pro+ has been supercharged to offer even more variety and exploration as it features additional new sound programs and drum sounds. There are plenty of cutting-edge synth sounds and also 50 additional programs in this synthesizer which bring the total program count to 250! And even if you are not a keyboard player, you will perform easily thanks to the intuitive design and flexibility of the touchpad. Users can create performances that are rich with tonal changes that could not be produced on a conventional keyboard instrument.

Updated drum PCM includes sounds from the acclaimed Wavedrum percussion synth for even greater performance variety. With just a single Korg Kaossilator Pro+ you can perform hip-hop, chiptune, house, dubstep, new disco, electro, reggaeton and drum 'n' bass...or create your own genre! 62 of the synth sounds are drawn directly from current musical genres, including familiar and extremely useful leads and synth basses, along with sound effects for DJ use. Of particular note are the 26 drum sounds that have been especially enhanced.

The Korg Kaossilator Pro+ delivers line inputs and a mic input that allows the recording of external audio sources as well. This makes it easy to add a vocal or audio from any external device to any loop phrase created on this synthesizer.
