This complete system was created in an exclusive collaboration between JICO and the DJ culture brand GENRE BNDR, which connects music across all genre boundaries. The limited "Good" special edition features the engraved message "Good Needle, Good Party" and reminds you that unforgettable moments on the dance floor are always based on top-class equipment.
This system has been specifically optimised for use with Digital Vinyl Systems (DVS) to guarantee an extremely clean transmission of timecode signals. The heart of the cartridge is the DVS replacement stylus, which features a solid natural ruby stylus tip. Due to the immense hardness and wear resistance of the ruby, the spherical cut glides precisely through the grooves of your control vinyl, minimising the risk of signal dropouts or annoying latency, while at the same time protecting your records.
Even during fast direction changes, intensive scratching, and rapid backspins, the system never loses contact with the track. The High-Stability Compliance Suspension damping, specifically tuned for DVS applications, ensures that the needle stays securely in the groove and expertly absorbs vibrations. As the cartridge comes pre-mounted and perfectly adjusted on a matte black original JICO headshell, the item can be made ready for use in just a few simple steps via the classic SME bayonet mount of your tonearm.
