The JICO OMNIA J44A 7 DVS GENRE BNDR "Better" is a strictly limited complete system, developed specifically for digital vinyl systems (DVS) as well as demanding DJ techniques. Created in collaboration with the visionary DJ lifestyle brand GENRE BNDR, this system embodies the breaking of genre boundaries on the dancefloor. The design of the stylus bears the inspiring message "Music Makes It All Better," making a powerful visual statement on your turntables.
The technical heart of this edition is the innovative DVS replacement stylus with a solid, natural ruby stylus tip. Ruby is impressive due to its exceptionally high hardness and extreme wear resistance, which ensures reliable and precise tracking even under the heaviest continuous use. The spherical cut also provides a harmonious and balanced sound image that perfectly captures the warmth of analogue records.
To ensure a straightforward and quick setup, the cartridge is delivered fully pre-mounted on an original matte black JICO headshell. This is adorned with a high-quality, engraved logo lettering and can be attached in no time at all via the classic bayonet connection of your tonearm. Answer: Yes. The complete system is designed for DJ use with DVS and comes with a DVS stylus. A DVS interface or compatible DJ mixer and the software used are not included.
Question: Can I mount the cartridge directly on a turntable?
Answer: Yes, the system is already pre-mounted on a black JICO headshell. The turntable's tonearm requires an SME bayonet connection.
Question: Which stylus is pre-mounted?

Question: What tracking force should I set?
Answer: The recommended tracking force is 3.5 to 4.5 g. Also adjust anti-skating and tonearm balance to suit your turntable.
Question: Do I need an MM or MC phono input?
Answer: The OMNIA J44A 7 is an MM cartridge and must be connected to an MM phono input. A dedicated MC input is not suitable.
