A moving mirror directs the gobo projection around the room, making the JB-Systems Panther as a gobo flower suitable for dynamic lighting effects in clubs, bars and DJ setups. The unit produces its shows using pre-programmed sequences or responds to music, depending on whether you operate it stand-alone, in a linked setup or via DMX.

The gobo and colour wheel combines 15 single-colour and multicolour gobos. The scanning mirror moves the projected pattern, while internal programmes control the sequence. For music-controlled operation, a built-in microphone picks up the sound; you can adjust its sensitivity on the unit.

The Panther operates in stand-alone mode without an external controller. You can synchronise several units via a master/slave connection; internal movement sequences can then play back automatically or in response to music. The unit has a 3-pin XLR input and output for DMX control. You set the start address using DIP switches, allowing you to address the units individually in a DMX chain.

An optional CA-6 hand controller can be connected for operation in stand-alone or master/slave mode. It controls the connected units via the controller input; it cannot be used with DMX. For mounting, use the bracket with side locking knobs and an opening for a suitable hook.

The unit is designed for discos, clubs, bars and mobile DJ applications. The 250 W, 24 V ELC lamp is included. For light shows where you want to use pre-programmed sequences, music-controlled operation or DMX integration, the Panther offers these control options in one compact effect unit.
