Product description JB-Systems Lighting Effect Dynamo

A moving mirror directs the beam across the dance floor within a 90° scan range. The JB-Systems Dynamo is a compact, lamp-based mirror scanner for decorative lighting effects, equipped with an EFP lamp rated at 100 W and 12 V.

For operation, internal programmes with music control via the built-in microphone and a Master/Slave mode are available. You can control the scanner via DMX using four channels for pan, tilt, shutter/gobo shaking and gobo/colour. Suitable controllers include the Scanmaster SMI216, iLEAD and other DMX controllers.

Ten multicoloured gobos create the patterns; the gobo-shaking effect adds movement to the light display. Blackout and strobe functions with variable speed round out the effects. You can adjust the focus manually to make the projected pattern appear sharper or softer.

The optional CA-8 hand controller is designed for easy operation. A fan cools the unit, while electronic overheating protection provides additional protection during operation. The Dynamo is designed for indoor use; a minimum distance of more than one metre must be maintained between the light output and the illuminated surface.

With its compact housing and weight of 3.8 kg, the scanner fits into mobile DJ and lighting setups where a classic lamp effect with DMX or music control is required. Four-channel DMX, internal programmes and the optional CA-8 offer suitable control options for small lighting systems and mobile discos.
