Four fixed colour filters create coloured lighting effects for stage and event use with this compact colour changer with four R7s lamps. The JB-Systems iCOLOR 4 is designed for four 300 W or 500 W lamps; four R7s lamps rated at 500 W and 230 V are included.

The heat-resistant dichroic colour filters are red, blue, green and yellow. In 4-channel DMX mode 1, you control colour selection, chase selection, speed and master dimmer. Mode 2 assigns the channels directly to the colours red, green, blue and yellow. You set the DMX address using DIP switches.

For operation without an external lighting desk, the unit can respond to music in stand-alone mode; a built-in microphone detects the beat. In a master/slave setup, the first unit sets the programme and the connected units follow in sync. Connection is via DMX XLR inputs and outputs.

You can optionally connect a CA8 hand controller or a CA8F foot controller. They are designed for stand-alone and master/slave operation; in a setup, you can use them to control functions such as standby, operating mode and function. This makes the iCOLOR 4 suitable for mobile lighting setups requiring classic R7s lamps, fixed filter colours and straightforward DMX or music control.
