Product description JB-Systems Dynamo 250

A moving beam of light can be directed precisely through a room using a mirror scanner. The JB-Systems Dynamo 250 is a compact DMX mirror scanner for mobile light shows that combines mirror deflection with a 250 W lamp and built-in stand-alone programmes.

The supplied 250 W, 24 V ELC lamp provides the light source. Use the manually adjustable focus to adjust the sharpness of the light image. Ten multicoloured gobos create different projections; the gobo-shaking effect adds movement to the display.

The unit can run without an external controller using its built-in programmes and microphone in stand-alone or Master/Slave mode. For DMX control, four channels for pan, tilt, shutter/gobo shaking and gobo/colour are available. The Scanmaster 1216 and iLEAD controllers are among those listed; universal DMX controllers are also compatible. The optional CA-8 hand controller is available separately.

Blackout and strobe are among the other lighting functions. A fan cools the unit, while electronic protection responds to overheating. DMX inputs and outputs with 3-pin XLR allow you to connect a controller or pass the signal on to another unit.

With its built-in programmes, DMX connectivity and compact housing, the scanner is suitable for mobile DJ and lighting setups that call for moving gobo projections. The choice of stand-alone, Master/Slave and DMX operation provides suitable control options for small light shows.
