When studio monitors are placed on a desk, vibrations can be transferred to the surface they stand on. The ISO Acoustics ISO-L8R155 is a pair of isolating speaker stands for medium-sized monitors and speakers. The isolators reduce the transfer of vibrations to the supporting surface; the stands can be adjusted in height and angle to suit your listening position.
Use the two included spacer tube lengths to assemble the stands in a low or high configuration. Combined with the angle inserts, they provide 14 height and angle combinations. This lets you raise the speakers and angle them upwards or downwards to position the tweeters appropriately for your listening position.
The maximum tilt angle is 6.5 degrees. The frames and angle components are made of compacted plastic and steel tubes; the isolators are made of high-modulus copolymer. The design is suitable for speakers weighing up to 15.8 kg per stand.
The 155 x 190 mm base is designed for medium-sized speakers and studio monitors. The pair is suitable for active studio monitors as well as passive speakers in HiFi and home cinema setups. Two possible stand heights make them a suitable solution when you want to adjust the placement on a desk or another flat surface to suit your listening position.
