Product description Hercules DJ Control MP3

If you want to control transitions and scratch movements directly on the controller rather than using a mouse and keyboard, the Hercules DJ Control MP3 offers a compact two-deck surface. It is designed for mixing at home or at parties and connects to the computer via USB.

Two jog wheels control the decks. A crossfader and two channel faders are provided for mixing; six rotary controls handle the EQ, and two more control pitch. A mini joystick, 28 phosphorescent buttons and six LED buttons round out the controls for working with DJ software.

The controller is powered via the USB connection. For playback, you need a separate PC sound card with active speakers or headphones; a USB connection therefore does not replace the computer's audio output. In addition to the included VirtualDJ 3 DJ Control Edition, the device can also be controlled with software from other providers via MIDI commands, according to the product description.

The product description lists audio CDs and MP3, WAV and WMA files as music sources. The stated minimum system requirements apply to older Windows PCs running the 32-bit version of Windows XP or Vista. The DJ Control MP3 is therefore intended primarily for simple PC mixes using suitable older software and an existing sound card.
