With the Headliner LA R2, you get an analogue 2-channel rotary DJ mixer that combines classic operation with well-thought-out features. Two switchable phono/line channels, large rotary knobs, a 3-band isolator per channel and an analogue filter form the foundation for a direct, controlled mix. High-quality ALPS potentiometers, separate master and booth outputs, as well as the robust metal housing with wooden side panels complete the concept. Two channels with full control Both stereo channels can be switched between phono and line signals. This allows, for example, two turntables, media players or other source devices to be connected directly. Each channel features gain controls with peak LED, cue buttons, a large volume knob, and a dedicated switch for filter activation. The integrated 3-band isolator allows for much more drastic intervention than a classic DJ EQ. Frequency ranges can be targeted and manipulated for transitions or longer blends. The genuine ALPS potentiometers support precise and smooth operation of the rotary knobs. Analogue filter for flexible transitions The master section features an analogue high-pass/low-pass filter. You can choose between high pass and low pass and then adjust both frequency and resonance. This makes the filter suitable for both subtle changes in the mix and clearly audible transitions between two tracks. Cue section with split monitoring For pre-listening, the mixer offers an extensive headphone section. In addition to volume and cue/master mix, a split monitor switch is available. The powerful headphone amplifier has both a 6.3 mm and a 3.5 mm jack in parallel, meaning many DJ headphones can be connected without an adapter. Master and booth controlled independently The master and booth signals have separate volume controls and are each available via balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs. Additionally, there is a separate record output. Two LED level meters display the master level. A microphone input with its own level control is located directly on the front panel. Solid build with classic look The stable metal housing is complemented by stained wooden side panels. Inside, Headliner relies on a modular construction. Power is supplied externally via a power adapter that connects to the mixer using a lockable mini-XLR connector. Who is the Headliner LA R2 for? The R2 is for you if you want to intentionally mix with rotary knobs without sacrificing modern connectivity. It is particularly interesting for sets involving vinyl, media players or other analogue sources, as well as for music genres where long transitions and controlled EQ adjustments play a central role. For DJs with a preference for rotary mixers For vinyl and line setups with two source devices For house, techno, funk, soul and disco For stationary DJ setups and smaller booths Features Headliner LA R2 Analogue 2-channel rotary DJ mixer with comprehensive cue, filter and output section Two stereo channels each with switchable phono and line RCA inputs 3-band isolator per channel as well as gain controls with peak LED and large rotary volume knob Analogue high-pass and low-pass filter with adjustable frequency and resonance Genuine ALPS potentiometers for the main controls Separate master and booth outputs with their own volume controls as well as XLR and RCA connections Cue section with headphone volume, cue/master mix and split monitor function Powerful headphone amplifier with 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm headphone jack Additional record output via unbalanced RCA connections Two LED level meters for the master output Microphone input with its own level control on the front Robust metal housing with wooden side panels and modular internal electronics Technical Data Channels2 stereo channels Frequency response20 Hz - 20 kHz EQ3-band isolator per channel FilterHigh pass | Low pass Filter controlFrequency | Resonance Inputs channel 1/2Phono RCA | Line RCA Master outputsXLR balanced | RCA unbalanced Booth outputsXLR balanced | RCA unbalanced Record outputRCA unbalanced Headphone connections6.3 mm jack | 3.5 mm jack Phono gain range-12 dB to +12 dB Phono equalisationActive RIAA equalisation Phono preamplifierSingle-stage Self-noise< -86 dBu A-weighted Dynamic range> 100 dB A-weighted Output THD+N< 0.05 % Headphone output maximum70 mA per channel at 150 ohms Minimum headphone impedance32 ohms per channel Power supplyExternal power adapter with lockable mini-XLR connector Power adapter input100-240 V AC | 50/60 Hz Power adapter output±15 V | 500 mA Weight2.8 kg Dimensions (W x D x H)320 x 219 x 106 mm
With the Headliner LA R4, you get an analogue 4-channel rotary DJ mixer for classic DJ setups with turntables, media players, and microphones. Four channels, 3-band isolators per channel, an analogue high-pass/low-pass filter, and large rotary knobs form the basis for controlled transitions and precise adjustments to your mix. Additionally, there are high-quality ALPS potentiometers, separate master and booth outputs, and an extensive headphone section. Four channels for flexible DJ setups Three stereo channels can be switched between line and phono inputs. The fourth channel offers the choice between stereo line and microphone. In total, four line, three phono, and microphone inputs are available. This allows you to connect multiple playback devices simultaneously and build your setup without needing an additional switcher. Each channel features gain controls with peak LED, cue button, volume control, and its own filter switch. The integrated 3-band isolator enables significantly stronger adjustments to bass, mids, and highs than a classic DJ EQ, making it particularly suitable for long transitions and creative blends. Analogue filter in the master section At the heart of the master section sits an analogue high-pass/low-pass filter. You can choose between high pass and low pass and then adjust both frequency and resonance. Each channel can be routed to the filter individually. This allows you to process specific signals while other channels continue to run unchanged. Rotary operation with ALPS potentiometers Headliner relies on genuine ALPS potentiometers for the central control elements. The large channel knobs support smooth and controlled operation, fitting the classic rotary concept of the mixer. The robust metal housing with stained wooden side panels visually reflects this approach as well. Cue section with split monitoring The headphone section offers a volume control, a cue/master mix, and a split monitor mode. A powerful headphone amplifier supplies both the 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm headphone outputs. The cue buttons for each channel have their own LEDs, showing directly which signals are currently being monitored. Master, booth, and record available separately Separate master and booth outputs are available for connection to various sound systems. Both have their own volume controls as well as balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections. An additional record output allows for the independent output of the mix signal to recording devices. Two LED level meters assist in monitoring the master output. Who is the Headliner LA R4 for? The R4 is suitable for you if you want to combine a classic rotary workflow with multiple playback devices. The concept is particularly interesting for vinyl setups, hybrid DJ systems with turntables and media players, as well as for DJs who prefer four channels without a crossfader.
