Product description Gibson LP6 - Tobacco Burst

The studio speaker is equipped with woofer, tweeter and bi-amping. The woofer has a size of 6 '' and is made of extra light and non-woven carbon. The bass reflex port is located on the front so that the speaker can be positioned very flexibly. The 1 '' Tweeter is made of diamond-like material and is coated with carbon. For the sound adjustment there are controls for treble and bass, which can be adjusted from -4 to +4 dB. On the back there are XLR, jack and cinch connectors.

Les Paul was not only an accomplished guitar maker, he also made a name for himself as a musician, producer and sound engineer. On the occasion of his 100th birthday, professional reference loudspeakers were developed that leave nothing to be desired in terms of quality and design.

Bi-amping with Kevlar woofer and silk dome tweeter Each monitor combines a 5-inch woofer with a Kevlar diaphragm with a silk dome tweeter. The amplifiers are split: 50 watts RMS power the low-frequency range, 30 watts RMS the high-frequency range. This results in a total of 80 watts RMS per speaker, giving both channels their own power reserves. Optimised waveguides guide the high frequencies, while two bass reflex ports operate on the front. This means the ports remain accessible even if the speakers are placed close to a wall. The MDF housing creates a solid base for a permanent spot in a home studio or on a DJ desk. Sound correction for the installation site Rooms and furniture change the listening impression, especially in the bass. That is why the highs and lows can each be boosted or cut by 2 dB on the back. The adjustable low-cut at 56, 80 or 100 Hz helps to adapt the low-frequency range to the placement and an existing setup. For a stereo triangle, Hercules aligns both monitors towards the listening position at an angle of approximately 60 degrees. The tweeters should be positioned roughly at ear level. This allows you to achieve a clear stereo centre and better evaluate levels, panorama and reverb portions. RCA, TRS and XLR for DJ and studio sources With RCA, balanced 6.35 mm TRS jack and balanced XLR, the pair covers typical audio sources.
