Product description Gemini PS-626X
When DJing with turntables and line-level sources, choosing the right input is essential. The Gemini PS-626X is a 3-channel stereo mixer in a 10-inch format with four line inputs and two RCA inputs that can be switched between phono and line. This lets you connect different sources and configure the switchable inputs to suit the connected source.
Each channel has a gain control and a 3-band EQ with cut function, allowing you to reduce specific parts of the sound. There is a dedicated input for a microphone, with a volume control and 2-band EQ. The master output sends the mixed signal to your sound system; the separate record output lets you route it to a recording device.
To monitor a channel, use the cue switch to select channel 1, 2 or 3 and adjust the headphone volume separately. The CUE/PGM control sets the balance between the cue signal and the programme currently playing. Depending on the switch position, the dual LED level meter can display CUE/PGM or the left and right master levels.
The crossfader is accessible behind a removable panel and can be replaced with a Rail-Glide crossfader. A ground terminal supports the connection of turntables. A cable with a 3.5 mm jack to RCA connectors is included for an iPod or another player with a headphone or line output; connect it to a line input.
This makes the mixer suitable for DJ setups with several analogue sources, a microphone and a separate recording path. Key features include the switchable phono/line inputs, per-channel tone controls and the cue function for all three channels.
