For DJ monitoring, a closed-back design helps reduce ambient noise when cueing tracks. The Gemini HSR-1000 is a wired Hi-Fi and DJ headphone with double noise isolation, designed for monitoring and music playback.

53 mm neodymium drivers with PET diaphragms cover a frequency range of 15 Hz to 25 kHz. The sound reproduction is designed to deliver a clear, natural sound with powerful bass; the closed-back construction also reduces external noise and sound leakage. This is just as relevant when cueing tracks at a mixer as when monitoring in the studio.

The headphones have a 3.5 mm jack plug for portable playback devices. With the included adapter, they can also be used with 6.3 mm jack sockets, such as those on mixers. This lets you use both jack sizes without needing any additional adapters.

The leather headband is adjustable; the ear cups swivel by 15 degrees and can be adjusted to your preferred wearing position. Padded ear cups and a weight of approximately 0.36 kg complete the design for longer listening and monitoring sessions. The adjustable headband and swivel ear cups help you adapt the fit to the shape of your head.
