Product description Futurelight PHS-710 Pro

In spot projections, gobos, colour changes and beam angles shape the look of the scene. The Futurelight PHS-710 is a moving head spot that combines these elements with moving light and can be operated via DMX or on its own. Two colour wheels, a static and a rotating gobo wheel, and a prism provide several combinable projection effects.

The first colour wheel has seven dichroic colours and white; the second has four dichroic colours, white, correction filters at 3200 K and 5600 K, and a UV filter. The colour change can be set to full colours only or to transitions at every wheel position. A rainbow effect runs in both directions at variable speed. Two colour wheels with selectable colour changes give you different options for colour sequences and individual colour positions.

For patterns, there are seven static metal gobos and six rotating gobos, each with an open position. The gobos are interchangeable and can be changed without tools thanks to the slot-in system. The rotating gobo wheel can operate with a shake effect. Combined with the rotating three-facet prism, combinations can be selected using a macro function. Gobos that can be changed without tools make it easier to change the patterns.

A motorised multistep zoom switches between 18°, 22° and 26°; the motorised focus adjusts the sharpness. The iris is continuously adjustable, and the frost filter fades in and out continuously, allowing you to crossfade the projection. A mechanical dimmer and a separate shutter complete the light control. The strobe effect reaches up to 13 flashes per second. Zoom, focus and iris are motorised or continuously adjustable.

Pan and tilt cover a maximum of 630° and 265° respectively. Movement across these maximum ranges takes 3.5 and 2.5 seconds respectively. A 16-bit resolution enables finer positioning; the pan and tilt directions can be reversed on the Control Board. The four-digit display with membrane keypad is also used to set the DMX address, trigger a reset, switch the lamp and view the operating hours counter. 16-bit resolution for pan and tilt supports precise position control.

In stand-alone mode, the PHS-710 can run as a master or slave. Its Program Run contains 48 pre-programmed scenes; the number of scenes used can be changed. You can adjust and save scenes on the unit or via an external controller. Eight integrated programmes can be selected using a DMX controller. A built-in microphone enables sound-activated operation. Stand-alone and DMX operation cover both independent sequences and integration into a lighting control system.

An MSR 700 G-22 lamp is intended for operation; it is not listed as included. The projector requires 230 V AC at 50 Hz and has a power consumption of 1300 W. You can control it via the three-pin XLR connection using a standard DMX controller. 17 DMX control channels are available for controlling its functions.

At 37 kg, with the dimensions of its base, suspension and height, the spot is suitable for stage and event installations that require moving gobo projections, a motorised zoom and several operating modes. When planning, pay particular attention to the power consumption of 1300 W, as well as the space required and the appropriate lamp supply.
