In cooperation with the company Funktion One the DJ-Mixer Formula Sound FF-4000 R was developed, which responds to the requirements of professional DJs worldwide. Reliability and easy repairs are ensured by individual plug-in cards per channel, PTH PCBs and rotary controls fixed to the front panel. A polycarbonate overlay printed on the back of the FF-4000 R ensures that the inscription is retained even after years of use. The FF4.2 is a further development of the well known FF4000 and features a precise 4-band full kill EQ on all channels. This allows for full frequency band slicing and isolation, as well as subtle spectral balance mixing, as is common with studio mixers. The EQ's frequency response characteristics have been carefully optimized to allow intuitive control of bass, bass/midrange, midrange and treble.Channel 1 input is Mic and balanced line with selectable compressor. The microphone input can be set to Booth mix or post Booth mix. The channels 2-4 inputs are Phono and Line. The headphones can be set to pre- or post-EQ and there is a cue balance control. The Crossfader has a contour control. A Crossfader PRO X is optionally available as a cost option. Each channel has 2 selectable inputs, 4-band full kill EQ, 2 aux, 12 LED meters and adjustable high and low pass filters. The low pass filter is adjustable from 20KHz to 1KHz and the high pass filter from 20Hz to 1KHz.
