No matter what you record, no matter how you work, the day comes when you need more inputs. With Clarett OctoPre you get eight of them and eight outputs. This allows you to extend the capabilities of your Clarett Thunderbolt audio interfaces - or any other interface with optical ADAT inputs and outputs.

Designed specifically for the Clarett series, the microphone preamps not only offer plenty of gain reserves, but also provide very low noise and distortion and great sound. The special "Air" function is an analog modeling of the classic ISA microphone preamp with transformers.

This not only switches the impedance to that of the original ISA preamps, but also the "transformer-resonance effect", which results in microphone signals sounding more airy and clearer. The preamps have a lot of headroom to be able to record signals with high levels - for example drums - in an optimal way.
