For wall surfaces that are to be enlivened with coloured fans of light, precise alignment is essential. The Eurolite LED SCY-3 is a low-profile LED architectural spotlight with a projector head that can be tilted manually. Three RGBW LEDs create flicker-free UpLight fan effects – suitable for stages, clubs, galas and exhibitions, for example.

Lighting options include static colours, seamless RGBW mixing, colour presets and programmed colour temperatures. Internal programmes, a dimmer and a strobe with variable speed add to the selection. In sound-controlled mode, the built-in microphone responds to the beat; microphone sensitivity and dimming behaviour can be adjusted.

You can control the spotlight via DMX512 with a lighting console and choose between four channel modes with 4, 6, 9 or 12 channels. Alternatively, it can operate in stand-alone or Master/Slave mode. An LED display and control buttons are used for addressing and configuration. The included IR-7 remote control also operates the unit; a clear line of sight to the sensor is required.

A 5-pin QuickDMX connection is provided for wireless DMX signals; a QuickDMX receiver is available separately. The DMX input and output and the power connections are positioned opposite each other, making cabling easier. The power output allows up to eight units to be connected in series. The unit can be mounted upright or suspended; a suitable safety cable is required for suspended installation.

The switch-mode power supply is designed for 100 to 240 V AC. The compact, low-profile housing requires little space when installed. When positioning the unit, observe the specified clearances: at least 0.5 m from easily flammable surfaces and 0.1 m from the illuminated object. The spotlight is intended for indoor use.

With manual tilt, multiple control options and a linkable power supply, the SCY-3 is suitable for lighting installations where wall fans need to be precisely aligned and several units connected. DMX, QuickDMX and IR control provide suitable options for mobile set-ups and permanent installations.
