Product description Dynacord SL 1200

In mobile PA racks and club systems, a power amplifier must reliably drive different speaker loads. The Dynacord SL 1200 is a two-channel Class A/B power amplifier with up to 900 watts per channel into 2 ohms and is suitable for speakers from the D-Lite, Forum, VariLine and Cobra families, among others.

The power amplifier has two channels to match the speakers; in bridge mode, it delivers up to 1,200 watts into 8 ohms or 1,800 watts into 4 ohms. The switchable, patented LPN filter corrects the frequency response and optimises the transient response of the connected speakers.

XLR inputs accept audio signals, while XLR outputs can pass them on to additional equipment. Neutrik Speakon outputs are provided for the speakers. A ground lift function can help prevent hum loops; the clip limiter limits signal peaks.

Protection circuits safeguard the power amplifier against overheating, overload, short circuits, and high-frequency and DC components at the output. A fan provides cooling. The 2U housing is designed for rack installation.

With its power ratings, switchable LPN filter and XLR and Speakon connections, the SL 1200 is suited to mobile PA systems and club setups. The specifications for channel and bridge mode help you choose a power amplifier that matches the impedance and wiring of your speakers.
