Product description Dynacord D-LITE D 8

With a passive full-range cabinet, amplification and signal processing must be located outside the speaker. The Dynacord D-LITE D 8 is a compact passive 2-way system with an 8-inch woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency driver. You can use it directly as a full-range speaker or as the mid/high section in a satellite system.

The ABS enclosure is designed for mobile use; a carrying handle and integrated pole mount socket make transport and setup easier. Thanks to its angled shape, the cabinet can also be used as a stage monitor. A 90° x 90° constant-directivity horn provides the intended even sound dispersion.

Two recessed Speakon NL4 sockets, wired internally for two poles, are provided for connection. The cabinet has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and is rated for 250 watts RMS; the appropriate power amplifier must be supplied separately. Thermal switches and halogen protectors protect the speaker components from thermal overload and reduce the power in the event of an overload.

With its black finish, compact dimensions and mounting options, the D 8 is suitable for mobile sound reinforcement, fixed installations and satellite setups where a passive 8-inch speaker is required. Full-range and monitor operation cover two typical positioning options.
