Product description Dynacord Cobra 2 PWH
Four tops and four PWH subwoofers form the speaker core of this COBRA-2 system. The subwoofers operate as planar waveguide bass horns and are each fitted with an 18-inch EVX 180 B driver from Electro-Voice. The set also includes a CSR-12 system rack, the matching connecting cables and a CSW-25 wedge set.
The PWH subwoofers are designed for low-frequency reproduction in the COBRA system. Their rated power handling is 600 W RMS, with a programme power of 1,200 W. A voice coil tracking protection circuit protects the voice coil from critical loads. Active crossover is required for operation; the recommended crossover frequency is 124 Hz.
The four COBRA tops handle the mid and high frequencies. They are passive three-way speakers with an impedance of 8 ohms and feature a four-driver midrange line array and a constant-directivity horn. The tops also incorporate a voice coil tracking protection circuit. The connecting cables in several lengths are included in the set.
With four tops, four subwoofers and the system rack, this package is suitable for COBRA-2 setups where mid/high-frequency and low-frequency speakers are used together. The included cables and wedge set complete the package for system setup with COBRA components.
