If you work with DJ software and want to connect additional controllers directly to the mixer, the DJ-Tech One combines two mixer channels and a USB hub in one compact device. Use the two Deck Select switches to control up to four software decks, with each pair assigned to one of the two mixer channels.
Each deck has a 3-band EQ with centre detent and a gain control for channel adjustment. You can adjust the master and monitor volume separately; a mini fader mixes the monitor signal. Two ten-segment LED meters display the master and PFL levels. Nine illuminated function buttons complete the control surface.
You can adjust the crossfader curve using a control; a hamster switch reverses the crossfader direction. The faders are replaceable. The robust metal housing also contains an active USB hub with two ports, which you can use to connect additional USB MIDI controllers or USB mass storage devices. For stable connections to the hub, we recommend using the supplied power adapter.
Connect the device to a computer via USB. It does not require a separate driver and is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux. The manual lists Deckadance and Traktor Pro among the compatible DJ software; a mapping file is provided for Traktor. Select the power supply using the switch: power adapter, USB bus power or off. The One is suitable for software-based setups where you need two mixer channels, control of up to four decks and connections for additional controllers.
