With the Daslight DVC Fun, you control light shows over DMX via a compact interface that is intentionally kept simple yet can grow with your needs. Out of the box, you get 128 DMX channels. If required, the controller can be upgraded for a fee to up to 512 channels. The connection is via USB-C, and the output is provided through a 3-pin XLR socket. That gives you a clear solution for smaller setups, mobile applications, and prepared scenes for stand-alone operation. Direct start into DMX control The interface works with Daslight 4 and Daslight 5 in Express mode. This allows you to program your light show on the computer, create scenes, and convert the control data into a DMX signal your fixtures can process. Express mode is intentionally limited, but it provides a clean foundation for manageable shows and fixed routines. With 128 live channels, the controller reliably covers many small lighting systems. If your setup grows later on, you can expand the number of channels via SUT upgrades. This means you don’t have to start out with something bigger right away, but can adapt the scope of functions to your needs. Small, clear, expandable The strength of this Daslight interface lies in its flexible expandability. With Smart Upgrade Technology, additional channels can be enabled or further software functions can be added. Up to a maximum of 512 DMX channels via XLR are possible. Optionally, Art-Net universes can also be added if your system is to be expanded accordingly. What matters here: The upgrades are paid and must be synchronized online regularly. Scenes without a running computer The integrated 50k flash memory enables stand-alone operation. You can transfer pre-prepared shows to the interface and then play them back without a computer. This is useful for small installations, simple lighting routines, or as a backup if the computer isn’t available during an event. A total of up to 99 scenes can be used. Operation on the device is via three buttons, including buttons for changing scenes and for dimmer control. That way, the controller remains usable even if you don’t want to work with the software permanently. Clean connection to the lighting system Via the USB-C connection, the interface is connected to the computer. For output to your lighting equipment, a 3-pin XLR socket is available. The plastic housing keeps the device light and compact, so it fits well into mobile lighting cases, DJ setups, or small technical locations. Power is supplied via USB. With the Daslight DVC Gold you control DMX lighting systems directly from the Daslight software and reliably output your programmed shows to spotlights, moving heads, or other DMX devices. The compact DMX interface comes from the factory with 1024 DMX output channel addresses across two universes, works with USB-C as well as Ethernet, and can also play shows back in standalone mode without a connected computer. This makes it suitable for both mobile lighting jobs and fixed installations where a stable and flexible control hub is required. Two universes ready to start The interface provides you with 1024 controllable DMX channels and can be expanded to up to 2048 channels via paid extensions. This way you are not limited to a small setup—you can expand your lighting system later when more devices, more universes, or more complex scenes come into play. With the four 3-pin XLR ports, the DMX output can be distributed cleanly across multiple lines. This ensures clear cabling and makes the system easy to handle even when you want to control different areas of a stage, a club, or an installation separately. Shows also run without a computer The integrated SD card storage lets you store programmed lighting shows directly on the interface. In standalone operation, 512 channels are available by default, with expansion up to as many as 2048 channels. This is particularly useful when a show is meant to run permanently or when a computer on site is not desired. Scenes can be triggered directly on the device using the buttons, via contact ports, or via the network app. This keeps operation flexible: from a simple scene change to integrated control in buildings, exhibitions, or small event venues. USB-C, network and clear control The connection to the computer is via USB-C. In addition, an RJ45 Ethernet port is available, allowing the device to be integrated into a network. In standalone mode, the interface can be controlled via a compatible remote app for iPhone, iPad, or Android. That means you don’t have to stand directly at the device to switch scenes or initiate sequences. Triggering without detours Using the contact ports, you can start scenes externally in live and standalone mode. In this case, the pins of the HE10 connector are bridged to ground, for example via pushbuttons or relays. The eight ports can be combined in binary form and enable up to 255 triggers. This makes the control interesting for installations where lighting is supposed to be triggered via wall pushbuttons, switching contacts, or external systems. The interface comes with 1536 live channels via XLR as standard, works with Daslight 4 and Daslight 5 in Full mode, and can be connected via USB Type B or Ethernet. More channels for larger setups You have 1536 DMX channels available as standard. This allows you to control three DMX universes directly via XLR. If your setup grows, the interface can be upgraded to 2048 channels for a fee. This gives you plenty of room for moving heads, LED bars, pixel effects, dimmers and other DMX devices. In addition, one live Art-Net universe is included. Upgrades allow for up to 100 Art-Net universes.
