Product description Bose Freespace 32SE

With permanently installed sound systems, a loudspeaker must be suited to the mounting surface and the existing amplifier technology. The Bose FreeSpace 32SE is a 32-watt surface-mount loudspeaker for commercial indoor and outdoor areas; its weather-resistant enclosure with an IP55 rating is suitable for permanent installation.

The passive 4-ohm version has no transformer and does not require a controller. It is designed for direct connection to an unprocessed low-impedance amplifier output. The 70/100-volt and 4-ohm versions are different variants; make sure you choose the right one when planning your system.

The supplied U-bracket allows horizontal or vertical mounting on a wall or ceiling. The bracket is attached to the threaded inserts on the sides; once mounted, the loudspeaker can be tilted and secured at the desired angle. Two additional threaded inserts on the underside provide further mounting points.

This model uses the same equalisation as the FreeSpace Model 32 and is electrically and acoustically compatible with it. Both models can be used together on the equalised amplifier output of the Model 32. The plain enclosure is available in black or white and can be painted to match your interior.

With its frequency range of 90 Hz to 16 kHz and conical dispersion angle of 132 degrees, the loudspeaker is designed for permanent sound installations. The choice between 4-ohm operation and a 70/100-volt system, as well as the appropriate mounting method, are the key criteria for integrating it into your setup.
