MUSIC CAN BE FELT RIGHT DOWN TO THE TIPS OF YOUR FINGERS

The DT 990 Edition is an open headphone. This means that ambient noise outside the headphones remains noticeable even at higher volume levels. This construction method gives the music a wide stage, a feeling of space that comes close to the enjoyment of music with loudspeakers. The sound is spectacular: pronounced highs and intense basses mate to a perfect fullness of sound. Rock and pop fans especially appreciate this.

EXCELLENT WEARING COMFORT

The supple headband and velvety soft ear cushions provide for a wearing comfort "par excellence". The ear pads are known for their breathable and skin-friendly velour. This means that even after a longer period of music enjoyment, there is no excessive heat development.
The combination of a comfortable headband, ear cushions and aluminium handset forks gives the headphones a sturdy appearance and a comfortable fit for long listening sessions.

DIFFERENT FROM THE DT 990 PRO-VERSION

The DT 990 Edition headphones for home use and the DT 990 PRO studio headphones: Both sound identical. The identical transducers are used. However, the Edition models have a slightly softer temple for the enjoyment of music at home, while the Pro handsets sit a little tighter on their heads to stay there in the studio even with faster movements. The PRO version is also supplied with a spiral cable and the Edition version with a stretched cable.
