Product description American DJ WR Controller (LED RC)
An IR remote control is useful when You want to control compatible American DJ lights without access to their control panel. The American DJ WR Controller (LED RC) combines lighting and DMX functions in a handy remote control and is compatible with the models listed in the Features section.
To control the light, point the remote at the front of the fixture and stay within 10 m. The fixture’s IR receiver must be activated; how to do this depends on the device and is described in its manual.
Use the RGB buttons to adjust the brightness of each colour. Autorun starts an automatic programme; use SPEED and the plus and minus buttons to adjust its speed. You can also choose from seven static colour programmes and control the strobe effect and flash rate. Depending on the selected function, the plus and minus buttons can also be used for dimming and programme selection.
Other buttons switch Blackout, Sound-Active and Slave operation, as well as DMX mode. In the DMX menu, You can switch between the channel modes supported by the respective device. Set the DMX address using SET ADDRESS and the number buttons. Sound-Active mode does not work with outdoor LED lights.
This makes the controller suitable as a replacement or additional remote control for compatible American DJ lights when You want to operate them directly via infrared. The key requirements are a compatible light model, an activated IR receiver and an unobstructed line of sight to the front of the device.
