Product description American DJ Laser Hypnotic RGB

Spider-web-like laser patterns in multiple colours are suitable as moving surface effects for dance floors, walls and ceilings. The American DJ Laser Hypnotic RGB creates these patterns using red, green and violet-blue lasers and offers DMX, sound-active and Master/Slave operation for this purpose.

In sound-active mode, the unit plays back built-in programmes matched to the audio signal. Alternatively, you can control it via two DMX channels or integrate it as a master or slave in a chain of devices. The digital display with a four-button menu is used to set the DMX address and other functions.

A stepper motor moves the patterns; the beam angle of 78 degrees covers a wide area. The device is fan-cooled and has a metal housing. For operation with optional UC3 remote controls, a 6.35 mm input is available. These controllers are sold separately.

For wiring, the laser features 3-pin XLR connectors for connection via DMX. Up to 24 Hypnotic RGB devices can be daisy-chained for power supply via IEC inputs and outputs. An on/off switch and a safety eye are located on the rear; a mounting bracket is included in the delivery.

During installation, the laser must be aligned so that no one can look directly into the beam and the beams do not hit the audience. The device is intended for securely mounted lighting installations, for example in mobile DJ setups or smaller event spaces, where a broad, moving laser effect and selectable control are required.
