Product description Alesis Core 1
If you want to record a microphone, guitar or line-level signal directly on your computer, the compact single-input USB audio interface keeps the signal path simple. The Alesis Core 1 combines a single input with a stereo output and is suitable for studio recordings, band rehearsals and mobile setups.
The XLR/6.3 mm combo jack accepts microphones or jack signals. A switch adapts the input to microphone, line or guitar level; you adjust the input level on the device. Audio is transferred via USB at 24-bit and 48 kHz.
For monitoring, there is a stereo headphone output in 3.5 mm mini-jack format, with a separate volume control. The class-compliant interface works with audio software that supports USB audio. You need USB 1.1 or higher to connect it to a computer; iOS devices can also be connected using a separately available Apple Camera Connection Kit.
The sandblasted aluminium housing makes the device a compact solution for use on the go. One input and stereo output suit solo recordings and simple recording setups; Cubase 7 LE is included as software.
