Product description AKG K181 DJ UE

When cueing in loud environments, closed ear cups and a targeted bass boost help you keep track of the beat in your headphones. The AKG K181 DJ UE is a dynamic, on-ear DJ headphone with switchable Bass Boost and 50 mm drivers. Its Mono/Stereo switch supports single-ear monitoring at the DJ console.

Depending on your working environment, you can use the switch to emphasise low frequencies more strongly. The Mono/Stereo switch sends the signal to both ear cups for single-ear monitoring. The closed-back design keeps ambient noise out of the monitoring signal; the ear pads are removable and can be replaced.

To position the headphones on your ears, you can rotate and fold the ear cups using the 3D-Axis mechanism. This makes single-ear monitoring easier and the headphones more compact for transport. The detachable, single-sided coiled cable connects via Mini XLR and, at five metres long, gives you freedom of movement at the DJ console.

The K181 DJ UE is suited to DJ setups where you need closed-back headphones with adjustable bass emphasis, mono switching and a detachable coiled cable. The folding mechanism and low weight are practical considerations when frequently transporting the headphones between the booth and storage.
