    Product information "Akai MPK261"

Akai Professional's MPK controller keyboards have become standard equipment in many professional studios. The latest MPK261 offers improvements in all key areas, from the new MPC-style RGB-lit pads to the superb function of the aftertouch-enabled 61-note keyboard.

The integrated MPC Swing delivers the tight, organic groove that has made MPC hardware models classics. MPC Note Repeat and 16 Level make it easy to build beats and construct short melodic sequences with the MPK261's 16 RGB-lit MPC-like pads.

Akai Professional's latest generation of MPK controllers seamlessly bridges the gap between hardware control and software performance, offering improved responsiveness through an optimized keybed, new MPC-style RGB-illuminated pads, the ability to send QWERTY-style commands via soft controls, and a low-power iOS mode.

The MPK261 connects to your Mac or Windows computer via plug-and-play and is also compatible with iOS via Apple's optional iPad Camera Connection Kit.

Included is a comprehensive downloadable software package to get you started producing right away.
